Sample of My Pasta

I don't know how familiar any of you are with the YouTube channel, Bad Lip Reading. It is one of my preferred channels when it comes to humor.

The idea is that the producer of these videos takes pop culture or current events elements (popular TV shows and movies, music videos, political happenings, the Super Bowl, etc.) and syncs poor lip reads with the lip movements of the people involved. They are often quite funny, and the producer is actually very talented at what he does.

Some of my favorites include the 2015 Republican debate, High School Musical, Star Wars, the Trump inauguration, and Stranger Things.

But one I watch over and over is "Sample of My Pasta," which is a bad lip reading of BTS's music video for their song "Idol." The Bad Lip Reading version is 3 years old, but I never get tired of watching it. It always makes me laugh.

I'm not even a fan of BTS, but this video is funny and, frankly, I think the parody version is a better song than the original.

Some standout moments: the backup shark, the one member who keeps saying one-word exclamations in a high-pitched voice, and my two favorite lyric moments: "I'm a quality koala teacher" and "I'm feeling low in my soul."

So here to brighten your day is "Sample of My Pasta."
