Feeling So Proud!

My first audiobook is now officially available on Audible and will be available also on iTunes and Amazon within the next few days.

Getting the email that it was now for sale was exciting, but actually getting on my Audible app and seeing the cover art with my name credited as the narrator was nearly breathtakingly exciting for me.

I have wanted to narrate audiobooks for such a long time, and it has become a reality. And now I'm working on my second, which I am so enthusiastic about and which I talked about in my last post.

So my first audiobook is called Micah's Miracle.

Here is the link to it on Audible. Here is a blurb about it:

After watching his mother die of a broken heart, Micah Rose fears that the events of his youth have damaged him, rendering him incapable of falling in love—until an unexpected chance encounter ignites a fleeting spark of hope in his heart—only to be extinguished a moment later, leaving Micah more certain than ever that the miracle of love is a myth…at least for him.

Just when he is ready to accept his fate of a lonely existence, Micah meets Salvador—a weary old man consumed with regret and longing to reach out to a family he abandoned years ago. When Micah befriends the old man and aids him in his quest to reunite with his family, he has no idea that his small act of kindness has set in motion a chain of events that will change his life forever.

As I have mentioned, there are three semi-graphic gay sex scenes in the book. So if that's not your bag or you're just uncomfortable hearing your friend and/or family member voicing that sort of thing, you can either fast forward through those sections or forego the book altogether.

But the book is actually a sweet and even inspiring gay Christmas romance. It's also a nice piece of escapist literature. I enjoyed the book and enjoyed narrating it. If you are not an Audible member and you use this URL, you can get the book for free. The catch is that you are signing up for a trial Audible account, but if you don't want an Audible membership, you have 30 days to cancel, and I believe the audiobook is still yours to keep.

As an Audible member myself, though, I love my membership. I've got over 200 books in my Audible library, and I love listening to audiobooks, so if you're into books, Audible is a great and affordable option if that interests you.

And now I'm working on this new book. I'm still in the pre-production phase but so excited about it. Just feeling really good today.
